# Job Opportunity – Postpartum / Mother-Baby Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** August 11, 2026 **Location:** San Antonio, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week**Highlights:** - 13-week assignment in a progressive Postpartum/Mother-Baby unit caring for high-risk antepartum patients, postpartum recoveries, and newborn nursery- Modern documentation systems including Meditech and CPN- Hospital recognized with an "A" Hospital Safety Grade by The Leapfrog Group for patient safety excellence- Opportunity to float to Labor and Delivery as needed to expand clinical experience- Call requirements to be discussed during interview process- Collaborative team environment focused on outstanding clinical outcomes and positive patient experiences**Requirements:** - Active, unencumbered Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)- Current BLS and NRP certifications required- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Postpartum or Mother-Baby nursing experience- Demonstrated experience in high-risk Antepartum care, Postpartum recoveries, and Newborn Nursery care- Proficiency in IV placement- Advanced Fetal Monitoring and RNC-OB certification preferred- Meditech experience strongly preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to join a highly skilled healthcare team at a facility committed to exceptional patient safety and quality care.
