Category Sales and Marketing Description The Internal Sales Desk Manager leads Meeder Investment Management's Internal Consultant and Regional Support Associate teams, with primary responsibility for driving asset growth and retention, developing a high-performing sales organization, and ensuring operational excellence across sales distribution. This role partners closely with sales leadership and marketing to align internal and field sales strategies, deliver consistent client messaging, and execute key business initiatives. The Sales Desk Manager provides leadership for Meeder's internal sales and support organization by aligning people, processes, and sales strategies to drive business results. Through talent development, cross-functional collaboration, operational oversight, and data-driven decision making, this role strengthens distribution capabilities, enhances advisor relationships, and supports long-term asset growth and client retention. Primary Responsibilities Lead a team of Internal Consultants and Regional Sales Associate driving asset growth, client retention, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, mentoring, training, and career development initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and prepare associates for future growth opportunities. Direct the day-to-day execution of the Internal Consultant Sales Desk, ensuring Internal Consultants are aligned to territory objectives, effectively supporting Regional Consultants, and delivering coordinated sales efforts that strengthen advisor relationships and business results. Drive sales performance and business growth by leading the analysis of sales activity, pipeline, territory, and market data, identifying trends and opportunities, and translating insights into actionable strategies. Drive sales performance by monitoring activity, analyzing key metrics, identifying trends, and implementing strategies that support growth and retention objectives. Champion strategic sales initiatives, product launches, and marketing campaigns by ensuring associates are prepared with the knowledge, tools, and messaging needed to effectively support distribution efforts. Collaborate with Sales Distribution leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent market messaging, share field insights, and advance organizational priorities. Oversee CRM utilization, sales reporting, regulatory compliance, and supervisory responsibilities to support informed decision-making, operational excellence, and adherence to firm and FINRA requirements. Position Requirements Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field required. Experience leading and managing sales, relationship management, or client service teams within asset management, investment management, wealth management, or financial services. Active SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/65 or Series 66 licenses required; Series 24 license required or must be obtained within 60 days of employment. Demonstrated experience supporting advisor distribution, investment products, and sales strategies within a regulated financial services environment. Proven track record of driving business growth, client retention, and sales productivity through effective team leadership and execution. Experience utilizing CRM platforms, sales reporting tools, and data analytics to support business planning and sales management. Knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, and industry developments that impact advisors, clients, and investment solutions.
