Test Technician II - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Position Overview Collins Aerospace is searching for technicians to support the assembly and testing of critical electronic components. This is a 2nd shift onsite position (Monday–Friday, 3:30PM–12:00AM, overtime may be required) located at 4200 AirportDr, Wilson, NC. The role requires a U.S. Person and has no security clearance requirement. Responsibilities Test electronic components following blueprints, guidelines, and part‑specific procedures to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards. Analyze assemblies at the component level, document results, and maintain test equipment as required. Use hand/machine tools, measuring devices, and electronic/manual test equipment safely and effectively. Support production schedules, meet deadlines, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (ACE). Follow safety, quality, and hazardous waste procedures at all times. Use computer tools such as SAP and accurately follow work instructions. Train others, interface with cross‑functional teams, and proactively resolve production or process issues. Maintain a clean, efficient work environment, request tools and supplies as needed, and contribute to waste minimization and audit activities. Qualifications High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Minimum 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience. 1+ year of experience manufacturing electronic components. Must meet all legal U.S. Person requirements. Preferred Qualifications A.S. in Electronics Technology or equivalent work experience. Ability to read schematics. Working knowledge of DMM, oscilloscope, signal generator, and spectrum analyzer. Basic component‑level troubleshooting experience. Role Type Onsite – employees will work primarily on site in production and maintenance roles, providing direct access to digital collaboration tools and in‑person meetings as needed.
