Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our attorneys in the various areas of law: litigation, estate planning, and personal injury. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Prepare case-specific documents, including research memorandum and motions
- Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review
- Conduct legal research and investigation
- Provide general administrative support
- Communicate with clients and witnesses
- Maintain and update documentation
- Assist with discovery requests and reviewing discovery
- Assist attorneys in estate planning document drafting
- Assist attorneys with medical record review and demand drafting for personal injury matters
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or similar role is preferred
- Certification or Associates Degree as a Paralegal is preferred
- Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with document management experience
- Excellent research skills
- Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
