Geneticist Position at Sanford Health

Sanford Health is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified adult geneticist to join a busy practice. Join clinical geneticists, advanced practice providers, and genetic counselors. BE/BC medical geneticist applicants with a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including those with pediatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine training. Minimum qualifications include an MD or DO degree, board certification in clinical genetics by the ABMG. Applicants must be well-versed and have a willingness to deploy pre-emptive genetic testing and other new and innovative genetic programs. The multi-disciplinary team includes clinical geneticists, a molecular pathologist, molecular laboratory geneticists, pharmacogenomics pharmacists, advanced practice providers, and genetic counselors. Research opportunities available, if desired. Pediatric residency program, allowing for a faculty appointment through the Sanford School of Medicine, academic appointment available through Sanford School of Medicine, commensurate with experience. Genetic counseling program started in 2016 with a joint effort between Sanford Health and Augustana University.
