Contract Physical Therapy Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled PTA services to patients based on physician's plan of care, ensuring quality and adherence to facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare team members to develop and modify treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions.
• Assist in patient education regarding recovery exercises and techniques to promote healing and independent function.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations during clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid PTA license in Texas
• Current CPR certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Ability to work days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain a productivity rate of 92% or higher

Preferred Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
