Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job TitleSummary:Pay Rate: 60 - 80/hrLocation: Iselin, NJWork Mode: HybridResponsibilities:Provide solutions for IT and business management concerning the application of technology to business opportunities, planning, and implementation of cross-functional applications.Monitor feedback on the use of business applications, enhancing system productivity as needed.Translate business requirements into application requirements, while working with all team members to execute the application successfully.Review cost estimates of various system solutions and review project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.Engage company teams and explain complex security initiatives in an understandable manner, while also addressing any hesitations or concerns from the company.Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshoot problems as necessary.Coach and sometimes delegate work to lower-level professionals.Requirements:Minimum 8 years of experience working with Asset Management firms.Minimum 3 years of experience working on investment performance calculation & reporting projects.Minimum 3 years of experience with projects related to IBOR systems for Asset Management firms supporting all major asset classes.Ability to query and analyze data using SQL tools.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university in IT/Computer Science.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of Leveraged Loans asset class preferred.Knowledge of FactSet and Eagle Performance preferred.Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence preferred.CFA or CIPM certifications are a plus.
