We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Battle Creek Health Care Center in Battle Creek, MI. As a Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our staff.

About the Role:

As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and attention. Your duties will include:

• Assessing patients' health needs and developing and implementing care plans

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed

• Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the appropriate staff member

• Communicating with patients and families to provide education and support

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment

• Documenting patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records

• Staying up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing

• Participating in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills

• Assisting with hands-on patient care as needed to support the team

Requirements:

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
