Required Qualifications✔ OSHA 30
✔ 3+ years of construction safety experience
Preferred Qualifications⭐ Manufacturing facility construction or shutdown experience
⭐ Mechanical construction experience
⭐ Demolition project experience
⭐ Experience supporting crane and rigging operations
⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
What You'll Be Doing- Oversee daily safety activities throughout all phases of the shutdown and expansion project
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor demolition, equipment installation, electrical conduit, and mechanical construction activities
- Support crane operations, rigging activities, and material handling operations
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Partner with field supervision and subcontractors to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture across all project activities
