Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

SCHEDULE: Night Shift

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current State RN Licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience in post heart catheterization preferred
- Experience with post-op vascular surgery patients preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a medical/surgical unit.
- Offer physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support to patients.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes.
- Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff.
- Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge, including discharge planning.
