Material Handler

Material Handler

Location: Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati metro) Base Pay: $23.00 – $25.00/hour

The Role

This is a full-time, first shift position on the shop floor and in the warehouse. You'll pull and kit parts for our assembly teams, deliver them to work stations, and keep our inventory records accurate in our ERP system. You'll move material with carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts, and help with shipping and receiving. You'll work alongside production operators and report to the VP of Manufacturing, with shop leadership close by to help throughout your shift. If you like staying busy and keeping things organized, this job is a good fit, and we'll train you on the equipment.

What We Do

Post Glover Resistors has been manufacturing specialized electrical products for over 130 years. Our resistors keep critical infrastructure running — power grids, mass transit systems, data centers, and industrial facilities across North America. We've grown significantly in recent years, and the people on our production floor are a big part of why. If you want steady, hands-on work at a company that's been around for over 130 years and is still growing, this is a solid place to land.

What You'll Be Doing

• Pull and kit parts from the warehouse so assemblers have everything they need before they start
• Deliver materials to work stations using carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Restock hardware bins at work stations
• Enter inventory moves and receipts in our ERP system and complete cycle counts
• Receive, pack, and stage shipments
• Flag shortages and damaged parts early, before they slow down production
• Keep aisles and work areas clean and safe, and help operators with non-production tasks
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times on the floor

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of warehouse, receiving, inventory, or material handling experience (manufacturing is a plus)
• Basic math skills, comfort with a calculator and tape measure, and the ability to enter data into a computer accurately
• Willingness and ability to operate a forklift. We'll train and certify you, and prior experience is a plus
• ERP or inventory system and cycle count experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to read and write English well enough to follow work orders, labels, and safety signs
• Ability to stand and walk throughout a shift and lift up to 50 pounds, with team lifts or equipment for heavier items
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a team-first attitude

What's in It for You

• $23.00 – $25.00/hour
• Monday through Thursday, first shift, 6:00am to 4:30pm (10-hour days), with frequent overtime opportunities, most often on Fridays
• Health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage
• 401(k) retirement with 5% company match
• On-site fitness center
• Paid vacation and holidays
• Stable work at a company with 130 years in business and a growing order book
