Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist with Directorship (ProvidenceSpokane Heart Institute)

The Providence Spokane Heart Institute and Center for Advanced Heart Disease and Transplantation is expanding and seeking a full-time BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant FTE with a 0.2 FTE Medical Directorship. Join a team of heart failure cardiologists and nurse practitioners continuing the tradition of over 30 years in heart transplantation in the Inland Northwest. This is a comprehensive service line encompassing ambulatory advanced heart failure and transplant clinics with specialty areas in amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, cardio-oncology and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Providence Sacred Heart Hospital is quaternary medical center serving a large geographic region of Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana and Eastern Oregon. The heart failure program runs a dedicated inpatient service caring for the full spectrum of heart failure patients including heart transplant, LVAD, percutaneous mechanical support, ECMO, TAH, and cardiogenic shock. Additional opportunities exist for research and education with residency programs and two regional medical schools.

• Full time split FTE position, hybrid physician and directorship
• Experienced physician required, leadership/directorship experience is preferred.
• Must have completed an advanced heart failure & transplant cardiology fellowship
• No state income tax in Washington state (federal income tax still applies)
• As a non-profit organization, Providence qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
• Signing bonuses and relocation benefits available
• Compensation is between $681,486 and $817,860 per year
• The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
