HPC Software Engineer - Colorado Springs, CO (TS/SCI with CI or FS Poly)

Responsibilities - Collaborate directly with users to optimize workflows and maximize use of advanced computing resources
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software performance issues in a Linux-based HPC environment
- Develop, maintain, and enhance codebases in C, C++, Fortran, Python, and scripting languages
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to support modeling, simulation, and scientific computing initiatives
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to debug and improve large-scale computing applications Required Skills and Experience - Active TS/SCI clearance with CI or Full Scope Polygraph
- Proven software development experience in C, C++, Fortran, Python, or similar languages
- Proficient with Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Korn shell, Python)
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and debug software
- Excellent communication skills for effective user support and collaboration Preferred Skills - Experience with HPC or scientific computing
- Modeling and simulation background
- GPU programming (CUDA/OpenCL)
- AI/ML exposure
- Performance tuning and optimization expertise
