Relationship Banker I (Dawson Road Branch)

Job Description The Relationship Banker I is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and over the phone. The role involves processing transactions, answering customer inquiries, building relationships, and supporting the branch in meeting customer needs. Candidates with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience are encouraged to apply. Primary Responsibilities Provide an optimal cash line experience for deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions. Answer product and service inquiries and fulfill basic servicing requests such as new/replacement cards, PIN reset, and reordering checks. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stay informed about their banking needs. Educate customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM). Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to support customer problem resolution. Refer customers to internal experts for more complex financial goals. Follow all bank processes, procedures, laws, and regulations; manage and report operational risks. Achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions. Conduct outbound phone calls using generated prospect lists to promote technology and meet financial needs. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Ability to work Saturdays as needed. Ability to handle cash and conduct cash transactions. Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills. Competent computer skills with frequent typing and sustained monitor attention. Capacity to walk and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Preferences One year of banking, cash‑handling, or customer service experience. Skills and Competencies Adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assistance with digital banking offerings. Multitasking and prioritization skills. Oversight of large sums of cash. Strong customer focus and relationship‑building skills. Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and used as a point‑of‑market reference. Factors influencing pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, location, and performance. The target salary for this position is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range. Job Range Target Minimum: $35,640.99 USD Median: $42,192.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans Eligible for a formulaic incentive plan with potential earnings based on performance metrics and goals.
