‍⚕️ About the Role – L&D Nurse Lead

We're seeking a strong Labor & Delivery Nurse Leader to support unit operations and provide hands-on clinical leadership. This role is perfect for experienced L&D nurses with charge or supervisory experience who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional maternal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide unit-based leadership in collaboration with Nurse Manager and physicians
• Supervise and support nursing and ancillary staff during shifts
• Oversee patient care delivery to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
• Act as Charge Nurse and step in for direct patient care as needed
• Coordinate care plans and facilitate communication across teams
• Monitor patient outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure a positive patient and family experience

✅ Requirements

• Active RN License (CA or compact eligible)
• 5+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience – REQUIRED ⚠️
• Charge Nurse experience – REQUIRED
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (within last 2 years) – REQUIRED ⚠️
• BSN – Required | MSN – Preferred
