Clerical Assistant

Clerical work including filing, data entry, and reception work. Scheduling meetings and typing correspondence. Indexing and operating office equipment such as fax machines, computers, and photocopiers. Performs data entry and general clerical duties. Maintains a professional demeanor while liaisons with nurses, physicians, and staff. Ability to interact with patients throughout the day. Requires excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills. Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. Typing speed of 50 keystrokes per minute is required. Preferred experience in a medical office setting and knowledge of medical terminology.
