Senior Clinical Research Associate

To ensure successful protocol level execution of clinical studies, the full-time remote Senior Clinical Research Associate will manage site monitoring activities, oversee compliance with regulatory standards, and mentor Clinical Research Associates. Key responsibilities Manage start-up, execution, and close-out of clinical trials at assigned sites, including monitoring visits and site evaluations Ensure adherence to federal regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), and AbbVie Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while maintaining audit readiness Coach and mentor Clinical Research Associates, providing input on their development and training needs Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a health-related field (e.g., Medical, Scientific, Nursing, Pharmacy) preferred Minimum of 3 years of site monitoring experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating complex issues Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and adapt to changing requirements Demonstrated planning and organizational skills with a high level of flexibility in a dynamic environment Virtual Vocations Inc
