The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world‑class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing. Role Description The Candidate Management Specialist will support post‑offer, pre‑employment activities such as physicals, urinalysis, criminal background checks, security clearances, visas, vaccinations and arrange business travel for new hires. Key Responsibilities Ensures completion of pre‑employment activities (physical, urinalysis, criminal background screening, clearance requirements, etc.). Fosters a relationship with potential employees waiting to complete employment contingencies. Answer phone calls, emails and correspondence in a timely, professional manner. When pre‑employment completed, identifies start date with the Hiring Manager and the candidate. Initiates travel and deployment activities. Initiates Visa and ECC. Requests Travel Itinerary with Travel Agency and/or Coordinate Charter Flights. Provides itinerary to employees. Notifies Site of Incoming. LOA/CAC Process in SPOT (renewals). Requests Travel for TDY/Ensure Readiness. Excusable Travel and Delay Form Processing. Qualifications Required High School or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in human resources, travel or recruitment assistant role. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Extreme attention to detail and ability to multi‑task. Qualified candidates must be willing to support a high energy, fast‑paced work environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to obtain an MRPT clearance. Preferred Experience in recruiting or travel for DoD, DoS government contracts.
