Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Maryland
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current STABLE certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Strong maternal-child nursing assessment, communication, teamwork, and emergency-response skills

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period
• Care for newborns and support families throughout the Mother-Baby experience
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Assist with deliveries and provide timely interventions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Support the stabilization and transfer of patients or newborns requiring a higher level of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical protocols
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Promote patient education, safety, comfort, and family-centered care
