Job Description:

\n

\n

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

\n

\n
• This is a multi-discipline individual who will be responsible for construction activities in the Client Brownfield facilities.
\n
• Lead position will include review of Contractor deliverables as well as oversight of project team personnel. The role is characterized by:
\n
• Champion Worker Safety Programs
\n
• Oversee site contractor construction activities during Execution Phase.
\n
• Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain and coordinate safety and QA practices and assist in preparation of schedules for subcontractors.
\n
• Assist the Maintenance projects and Turnaround Supervisor with planning, monitoring, and coordinating the execution of all field activities by a contractor.
\n
• Forward looking professional, able to advise and assist contractor in execution.
\n
• Provide the interface between the work face and the Maintenance projects and Turnaround Supervisor.
\n
• Provide construction core competency to Project Team and advise contractor of upcoming challenges.
\n
• Ensure good communications and relations with the contractors.
\n

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n

\n

Responsibilities of the Position shall include the following:

\n

\n
• Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team members
\n
• Supervise contractor personnel and ensure all Safety Health and Environmental procedures and policies are followed.
\n
• Assist contractor in construction planning.
\n
• Serve as day-to-day interface with contractor and craft labor during the Construction Phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
\n
• Provide safety monitoring/leadership.
\n
• Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress.
\n
• Provide oversight of contractor’s materials management/verification systems
\n
• Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans.
\n
• Monitor workforce productivity and progress relative to schedule.
\n
• Monitor environmental compliance, as required.
\n
• Interface with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.
\n
• Verify post-site arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment.
\n
• Provide on-site support for Work Management System (Permitting, JSA Reviews, LOTO, etc.)
\n
• Provide support to commissioning/systems completion as required.
\n
• Coordinate Quality Audits and other site surveillance activities
\n
• Perform other duties as requested.
\n
• Develop Early Career Professionals

\n

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

\n

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent required
\n
• Minimum of 10 (15+ preferred) years site experience in all aspects of construction; Civil, Structural, Mechanical/Piping, Scaffolding, Electrical and Instrumentation and Controls, Insulation/Painting, etc.
\n
• Experience desired in the following areas: Marine environment, Hot and Cold Taps, and Pile installation.
\n
• General computer skills and experience working with MS Outlook; PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
\n
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
\n
• Valid driver’s License.
\n
• Familiar with OSHA 1910 – Occupational Safety and Health Standard and OSHA 1926 Standards – Safety and Health Regulations for Construction.
\n
• MUST have Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card or be able to obtain within 30 day of hiring
