FT (36hrs) - Mon-Wed - 7a to 7p

Job Description:

The Registered Nursing (RN) w orks collaboratively with the ED team caring for patients admitted to a med/surg level of care awaiting a room. This RN is part of the Resource Pool and qualifies for an extra Resource Pool Differential.

Department/Position Overview:

This is a 41-bed Level III Trauma ED with 6 bedsdedicated to a lockdown psychiatric screening and treatment area. We are a stroke certified ED and receive STEMI and psychiatric patients. The ED treats about 150 patients per day with a dedicated radiology suite in the ED for plain film and CT imaging.

Education:

• ADN required BSN or higher preferred.

Certification:

• Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
• BLS

Experience:

• RN Experienced in a hospital setting.
• Min of 18mos RN Experience on a Medical Surgical or Intermediate Care Unit.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
