OB/GYN Physician - Chandler, AZ - Physician-Owned Practice with a GYN-Only Option

Want the autonomy of private practice without losing your weekends? We are a physician-owned, physician-led OB/GYN practice in Chandler offering Monday–Friday scheduling, equitably shared call, a partnership track, and the option to build a GYN-only practice without deliveries.

Overview & Highlights:

• Location: Chandler, AZ — an East Valley community in the Phoenix metro with year-round sunshine, well-regarded schools, and easy access to the wider metro area
• Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | No weekends
• Compensation: $300,000–$450,000 base salary, based on experience, plus productivity and collections-based bonus opportunity
• Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid vacation and sick leave; 401(k) with employer contribution; annual CME allowance; licensure, DEA, and credentialing reimbursement; malpractice coverage including tail
• Sign-On / Relocation: Up to $10,000, customized to candidate needs

Location & Logistics:

• Work Environment: Established private practice combining outpatient clinic care with inpatient obstetric and surgical responsibilities
• Practice Scope: Full-scope OB/GYN including clinic, gynecologic surgery, and inpatient obstetrics; a GYN-only opportunity is available for the right physician
• Coverage Model or Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with no weekend clinic
• Travel: None
• Call Expectations: Shared equitably among the OB/GYN team, typically 3–6 shifts per month depending on branch location
• Start Timeline: We are hiring for the right long-term fit and can be flexible on timing. We welcome physicians who are available to start immediately, as well as those considering a planned transition over the next 12–24 months.

About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life:

This is a private practice with physicians at the table. We are physician-owned and physician-led, and that shows up in the everyday decisions: thoughtful scheduling, equitable call, clinical autonomy, and a practice built to be sustainable over a long career rather than a single busy year.

Your outpatient work will include preventive and well-woman care, prenatal visits, contraception and reproductive counseling, and the management of a broad range of gynecologic conditions within an established patient and referral base. Physicians who want to operate can keep a procedural mix that includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, hysteroscopy, and cesarean sections.

You will work alongside certified nurse midwives, advanced practice providers, experienced clinical staff, and hospital partners. Established administrative and EHR workflows keep care coordinated and keep unnecessary work off your plate.

Prefer gynecology without deliveries? A GYN-only path is available for the right candidate — a way to stay in an established practice and a full surgical scope while stepping away from obstetric deliveries.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient OB/GYN care, including preventive care, well-woman exams, prenatal visits, and gynecologic consultations
• Diagnose and manage common and complex gynecologic conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, and pelvic floor disorders
• Manage labor, delivery, intrapartum care, and postpartum follow-up for physicians practicing full-scope OB/GYN
• Perform appropriate gynecologic procedures and surgeries, including minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures and hysteroscopy
• Perform cesarean sections as part of a full-scope obstetric practice
• Counsel patients on contraception, family planning, and reproductive care
• Collaborate with certified nurse midwives, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and hospital-based teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in shared OB/GYN call coverage as applicable to your practice scope
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the practice EHR
• Support continuity of care across the outpatient, inpatient, and perioperative settings
• Participate in clinical quality, safety, and practice improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an Arizona medical license, or eligibility for Arizona licensure
• Completion of a U.S.-based, ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Ability to obtain the required hospital privileges
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
• Interest in community-based, continuity-focused obstetric and gynecologic care
• Interest in a long-term private-practice role and a potential partnership opportunity
