At Range USA, your work has real impact.Position title - Compliance CoordinatorReports to - Senior Compliance CoordinatorClassification - Full-Time / Exempt / SalariedThe Compliance Coordinator is on the front lines of our department's mission: ensuring every Range USA firearm transaction complies with all regulations through oversight, training, and standards. This field-based, multi-unit role requires auditing compliance records, coaching store employees, and serving as the ATF and 4473 subject matter expert for an assigned territory. Travel required.Core values alignment:Curious — ask questions, find and solve problemsPassionate — care deeply about the brand, team, and customersDo it Right — take pride in accuracy and credibilityService — put others above ourselvesKey responsibilitiesAudit & ComplianceAudits all 4473 forms for accuracy and completeness in accordance with local, state, and federal law, including verifying that all forms where no transfer occurred are maintained and filed correctly, that the bound book has been reconciled, and that all multi-sale forms have been submitted to the appropriate agenciesVerifies all frames and receivers are properly identified with warning labelsConducts quarterly Asset Protection cash on hand counts and submits results to the appropriate teamCompletes quarterly NFA audits across all assigned storesEnsures error correction sheets are acted upon promptly and all forms are properly archivedOperations & ReportingMonitors and responds to help desk tickets within 24 hoursReviews all compliance-related metrics and dashboardsBudgets, manages, and reports expenses within company guidelinesTraining & CoachingTrains, coaches, and guides store employees to consistently meet 4473 and ATF compliance standardsLeads monthly recap calls with each store in the territory to review and discuss audit resultsWorks closely with District Leaders to build consistency across assigned stores by participating in their weekly calls to communicate new policies, procedures, laws, and ATF-related newsConducts monthly Hip Pocket trainings with store staff to support ongoing learning and retrainingDevelops and updates training and procedure documentsCommunication & RelationshipsBuilds and maintains strong working relationships with ATF partners during inspections and trainingsServes as an active participant in the weekly compliance Level 10 meeting, communicating territory-wide issues and driving problem resolutionParticipates in special projects such as deep dives, trainings, meetings and conferences, and combination auditsServes as the compliance subject matter expert for the assigned territoryDesired skills & experienceAssociate degree in Business Management or a related field preferredStrong execution skills — ability to deliver results within expected timeframesProficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPointExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skills, applied to foster a collaborative training environment between the coordinator and store teamDemonstrated ethical conductProven problem-solving and analytical abilityEffective multi-tasking, prioritization, and time managementAbility and willingness to travel regularly within an assigned territoryEmployee benefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision health insuranceUnlimited Shooting – Free ClassesIndustry-leading online and in-store discountsManufacturer rewards and points programNo firearm experience needed — we offer paid training
