Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Machinery

About the Position:

Seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and improve industrial machinery and plant equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical design, equipment repairs and upgrades, vendor sourcing, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D/3D mechanical designs, drawings, P&IDs, and schematics using AutoCAD.
  
  
• Design, evaluate, and improve industrial machinery and mechanical components.
  
  
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  
  
• Source replacement parts and coordinate equipment repairs and rebuilds with vendors.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams while managing project schedules.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  
  
• 5+ years of industrial machinery or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
  
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and mechanical drafting.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of machine design, machining, tolerances, and assembly processes.
  
  
• Experience sourcing parts for industrial equipment repairs and rebuilds.
  
  
• Familiarity with industrial electrical wiring and mechanical troubleshooting.
  
  
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
