This unit is designed to provide specialized care for patients who require close monitoring and management. Location Dallas, TX General Information Number of Beds: 16 Number of Staff: 42 Staffing Structure: Day Shift - 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs Night Shift - 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs Patient Ratios: 4:1 Equipment: Collaborative equipment Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech Floating Requirement: Yes, to other PCUs and telemetry units Qualifications Successful candidates must possess the following qualifications: BLS and ACLS certification Preferred Qualifications Candidates with the following skills will receive priority consideration: Experience in PCU or telemetry Typical Procedures The PCU team engages in a variety of procedures to support patient care, including: Cardiac monitoring Administering medications and treatments Patient assessments and continuous evaluation Personality Fit The ideal candidate should exhibit the following qualities: Collaborative and a team player Additional Information We offer a supportive work environment with access to the latest equipment and technology.
