Associate Attorney - Family Law

Position Overview We are seeking a full‑time Associate Attorney to join our growing family law practice. This is a hybrid role, with only one required in‑office day per month. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable handling a caseload while working in a mostly remote environment. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of approximately 45+ family law matters Represent clients in court and before government agencies Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Conduct legal research and provide thoughtful legal guidance to clients Negotiate settlements and resolutions Communicate regularly with clients and maintain strong client relationships Participate in consultations and assist with new client intake Support firm marketing efforts, including networking and outreach events Perform administrative and case management tasks related to the practice of law Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards Qualifications 0–3 years of family law experience (newer attorneys encouraged to apply) Active Illinois law license and good standing Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setting Client‑focused mindset with a professional and empathetic approach Spanish speaking preferred Updated Benefits 160 hours of PTO per year (accrues from day one) Health, dental, and vision insurance Hybrid work environment with minimal office requirements 401(k) plan Supportive team culture with mentorship opportunitiesMeaningful opportunities for professional growth and advancement Technology‑driven systems that support remote work and efficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr NextLevel Law, P.C.
