Position: Travel RN - PICU

Shift:

7A - 7P

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 20
• Number of Staff: 51
• Type of Staff:
  
  
  • Day Shift: 1 free charge RN, 9 bedside RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT)
  • Night Shift: 1 free charge RN, 9 bedside RNs
• Patient Ratios: 1:2; 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Philip monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• EMR: Meditech

Hiring Profile:

• Required Skills:
  
  
  • Minimum of 1 year of current PICU RN experience
  • BLS & PALS certifications
• Preferred Skills:
  
  
  • Post-operative cardiac experience
  • Venous puncture experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Conscious Sedations
• Management of Respiratory Failure (ETT, HFOV)
• Chest Tube Placement
• Central Line Maintenance and Care
