An opportunity for a Urogynecology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage at a medical center in northern Vermont.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 8:15a-5:00p, 3 days/week
• No call
• Manage patient load, including medication management, pessary management, pre and post-op visits, and non-surgical new patient consults
• Support the triage nursing team
• Daily Volume: 13-15 patients
• EMR: Epic
• Board certification and BLS required
• Paid travel & expenses

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited PA or NP program
• One year of work experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
