About the Role:
Join HARLEM FAMILY SERVICES INC as a Part-Time Clinical Counselor in the vibrant heart of NYC, NY. You'll play a critical role in providing compassionate support and guidance to individuals and families in need.

Job Duties:

• Provide individual and group counseling to clients facing various mental health challenges.
• Ability to work with children and families a plus.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a mental health counselor in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
• Spanish/French speaking a plus.
