Repair Technician

The Soldering Probe Repair Technician position is responsible for utilizing soldering tools and skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Ultrasound Transducers.

Responsibilities

• Complete transducer repairs according to work instructions and quality procedures.
• Maintain probe files and accurately document the probe repair process.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and/or material to the supervisor.
• Support the repair team in the evaluation of probes, including testing for proper functioning and troubleshooting.
• Perform cable replacements requiring fine gauge wire retermination soldering.
• Comply with standards and the Company's Quality Management protocols.

Essential Skills

• 2-5 years of electronic soldering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to solder 4244-gauge coaxial wires.
• Knowledge and understanding of oncology and/or diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Technical degree or certification in electronics repair or relevant course of study preferred.
• Military experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is predominantly performed in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. Temperatures may be subject to outdoor conditions in terms of cold and heat. Exposure to large medical equipment, parts, heavy machinery, and high-voltage electricity is expected. The work environment is climate controlled and the hours are from 7:30am-4pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.84/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
