Quality Control Manager - Construction

An established general contractor is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and drive QA/QC execution on large-scale, mission-critical construction projects. Typical projects exceed $400M in value and 60+ MW capacity , requiring strong leadership across complex systems and trades. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards across all phases of construction, including civil, structural, MEP, and building envelope systems . The position offers the opportunity to directly influence the delivery of some of the region’s most complex and technically demanding builds. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan Lead and mentor a team of Quality Managers and Project Engineers , ensuring thorough inspection of materials and installations across all scopes Manage relationships with trade partners and third-party testing agencies to ensure compliance with project quality requirements Conduct and facilitate regular quality meetings to address active issues and proactively plan upcoming work Partner with owner-side quality representatives to monitor performance metrics and ensure alignment with project standards Track and manage construction deficiencies from identification through closeout, maintaining accurate logs within Procore and related systems Qualifications 7+ years of construction experience , including at least 3 years in a QC, superintendent, field engineering, or construction administration role Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture , or related discipline (or equivalent field experience) Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools Experience on mission-critical, semiconductor, oil & gas, healthcare, or large commercial projects strongly preferred USACE Construction Quality Control Certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
