Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in our unit, which features 12 labor and delivery beds and a range of services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in obstetric nursing and an understanding of AWHONN guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to patients.
• Monitor patients and titrate drips, including Oxytocin, Insulin, and Epidural.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members, including Charge Nurse and House Supervisor.
• Utilize telemetry and EFM systems effectively to monitor patient status.
• Assist in circulating and recovering cesarean sections when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN licensure and Basic Fetal Monitoring certification are required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is preferred.
• Experience with common diagnoses such as Gestational Hypertension, Gestational Diabetes, and Pre-Eclampsia.
