OTR Tanker Driver (EAP)

Class A Tanker Driver (Otr)Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking qualified and experienced Class A CDL Drivers with Tanker Endorsement to support various projects. Drivers will be responsible for hauling from a client facility to designated job sites, ensuring safe and efficient transport while complying with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. This position requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement, strong operational discipline, and the ability to work extended hours during an active construction or industrial project. Drivers from the Inland Empire and Southern California who are looking to work OTR are encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate Class A tanker trucks transporting between client facilities and job sitesFollow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety proceduresPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and tanker equipmentMonitor load integrity and ensure safe operation of tanker valves and pumping equipmentMaintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and trip documentationCommunicate effectively with dispatch, project supervisors, and job site personnelFollow designated hauling routes and schedules to support project operationsMaintain awareness of site safety requirements and environmental compliance standardsReport equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to managementMaintain professional conduct while representing Ecology Auto Parts on active project sitesRequirementsQualifications/Knowledge/Critical SkillsValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Tanker Endorsement REQUIREDMinimum 2 years of Class A driving experience REQUIREDExperience hauling liquids, water, or similar materials preferredStrong understanding of DOT regulations and driver compliance requirementsAbility to work long shifts (up to 14 hours per day) during active project schedulesReliable work ethic and strong commitment to safetyAbility to work independently while maintaining communication with operations personnelHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical Demands/Environmental FactorsDrivers must regularly sit for extended periods while operating commercial vehiclesUse hands and arms to operate tanker equipment, valves, and vehicle controlsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required include distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentWork may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction environments.CompensationThe Tanker position offers a competitive yearly compensation range of $78,000.00 to $109,200.00 per year, commensurate with performance, experience, certifications, and demonstrated skill level.
