Duties and Responsibilities Help and Assist as needed with the Food Services Director and Administration to keep residents satisfied with food and during dining programs Assist with meal preparation and ensure food is received, stored, and prepared according to dietary standards Maintain kitchen, food storage and preparation areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times Responsible for opening and closing the kitchen Adhere to cleaning schedules and regulatory food safety standards and practices Document temperatures of food prior to service, refrigeration and freezer Assist with preparation and execution of special events and theme meals Perform other duties as needed and assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Must possess a genuine and caring attitude towards seniors Minimum of 1 Year of Experience as a Cook, Healthcare Setting Preferred Good communication skills and ability to interact with residents and staff Able to lift 50 pounds Benefits 1199 Benefits Paid Time Off EOE Statement: WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
