Interim Controller

Do you enjoy the variety that public accounting offers and the challenge of working on different engagements? The ideal profile is an accounting or finance professional with 10+ years of industry experience in leadership roles. Most of our consulting engagements require Controllership and or Director level experience. This engagement is with a client of ours in the Marietta area. They need a hands-on, hit-the-ground-running consultant who can operate independently. Types of Projects You May Support: Support high-priority accounting needs amid anticipated turnover Lead and oversee financial close processes Perform and review complex account reconciliations Drive heavy Excel-based analysis and reporting Partner with senior leadership on audit readiness and divestiture support Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during transition period Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all accounting functions These assignments are ideal for professionals who are confident stepping into evolving roles, navigating ambiguity, and providing structure, stability, and insight from day one. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in mid-sized or growing organizations Hands-on experience with treasury functions and managing corporate credit facilities (revolver experience required) Proven leadership experience, including oversight of accounting teams Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros, and data automation tools Ability to work independently and jump into fast-paced environments with confidence Compensation Package Resource Solutions Consultants are paid for every hour worked and time and a half for overtime, unlike traditional employment where professionals at this level are exempt from earning overtime pay.
