Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience in a Renal/Diabetic Unit - Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6-8 - Proficient in care for patients in a 23-bed unit Description: The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a specialized setting. Familiarity with renal and diabetic conditions is essential. Nurses will work collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and educating patients and families. Strong communication and organizational skills are vital for success in this position. The environment requires adaptability to changing patient needs. Candidates should be prepared to handle a diverse range of clinical situations.
