Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,861 per week

Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, with a start date of 05/25/2026. Responsibilities Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs. Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders. Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples. Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy. Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient receives the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate. Observe and record patient status and progress. Educate patients and/or family members on proper medication use and equipment operation. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC. Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications ACLS or PALS certification (AHA/ARC). Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50–100lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal Skills - Must work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/Motor Skills - Must grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements - Must cope with frequent public and customer contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, and maintain continuous concentration to detail.
