Visit us online at: Position Description: Performs a variety of routing to skilled general preventative maintenance duties to include repairing, altering and modifying building, equipment and systems. Duties: * Maintain routine records and determines type and extent of malfunctions of equipment and, as necessary, adjust, disassemble, repair or replace parts or components then reassembles and tests for proper operation. * Maintains gas fire steam boilers and makes necessary adjustments to ensure proper steam pressure, combustion, water flow, water level and proper operation of safety devices. * Assists with the preventative maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. * Performs general mechanical maintenance to kitchen equipment, boiler room equipment, etc. to include complete all maintenance records of equipment. * Maintains all gases to facility such as oxygen, nitrogen and vacuum systems needed for daily operation of the hospital. * Assists with performing preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment. * Performs other duties as assigned/required.
