This role involves conducting Fluoroscopy, MSK injections, Diagnostic Mammography, and other procedures that require a physical presence to maintain high standards of patient care and service continuity. Position Title: Physician-Radiology Employment Status: Full-Time Recruitment Type: Direct Hire Practice Setting: Hospital Employee Salary Range: $330,000 - $380,000 annually Position Overview Are you an experienced radiologist looking for an engaging community to work in? Join our enthusiastic team in Albuquerque, NM, where sunshine graces us for 310 days each year! We are looking for a full-time radiologist who is passionate about serving our veterans. The organization is seeking a fellowship-trained specialist in Abdominal (CT/MRI/US) and non-vascular interventional radiology. The role includes performing General Fluoroscopy exams and interpreting a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and plain film. Responsibilities will encompass supervising and interpreting abdominal and cardiothoracic imaging. Key duties involve direct patient care, overseeing technologists, and mentoring Radiology trainees. Teaching and managing the educational program for trainees is also a fundamental aspect of this position. The radiologist will oversee service protocols, supervise technologists, and engage in interdisciplinary communication with Clinical Services to uphold Best Practice standards and enhance patient care. Additionally, the role includes facilitating, implementing, and promoting research and quality improvement initiatives, as well as optimizing the use of imaging resources in the cardiothoracic and abdominal sections.
