About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with GQR Healthcare to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Torrance, California, 90509!

**Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse • Days**

**Location:** Torrance, CA

**Contract Duration:** 8 weeks

**Shift:** Days (36 hours/week, 3 x 12•hour shifts)

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Monitor maternal/fetal health, manage labor support, and assist with deliveries.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and support pain management.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Ensure safe transitions to postpartum/newborn care.
• Provide care in Labor and Delivery, triage, and operating suites.
• Care for C•sections, DNE/DNC, tubal ligations, and recovery.

**Requirements:**
• Active CA RN License.
• 1+ year recent Labor and Delivery experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• C•Section experience.
• Certifications: AHA BLS/PALS/NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring, NIHSS, MAB/CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety.
• LA County Employee Health Clearance.
• COVID vaccination and booster required.
• Travel experience preferred.

• No on•call; flexible floating.
