PathGroup is seeking an experienced AP/CP Board-Certified Pathologist at our partner hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This full-time opportunity offers a blend of clinical diagnostic responsibilities and laboratory operational oversight, providing a visible role in hospital leadership and ongoing quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for advancing laboratory excellence and clinical collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission) Provide clinical oversight for transfusion services, hematology, microbiology, chemistry Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases Participate actively in quality improvement, hospital committees, and multidisciplinary case discussions Foster collaboration and communication between laboratory services, clinicians, and hospital leadership Qualifications: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution AP/CP Board Certification required Eligible for Indiana medical license Previous experience in a medical directorship or strong leadership capacity preferred Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and organizational skills Strong commitment to laboratory quality, continuous improvement, and clinical service #J-18808-Ljbffr
