About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to play a pivotal role in the optimization and scaling of its Global Exhibitor Sales function. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the strategic planning and execution of initiatives aimed at doubling the Conferences business over the next 5+ years. This executive-level position demands a proven track record in business leadership, with a focus on executive advising, project execution, and interdepartmental collaboration. The VP will be a key partner to the leaders of the Global Exhibitor Sales function, leading strategic efficiency projects, and driving operational and organizational transformation to support the company's growth objectives. Candidates for this role at the company should have 10-15+ years' of progressive business experience, preferably in a strategy or consulting role with a focus on sales. The role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong emphasis on relationship building, passion, and drive. The VP will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, applying data analysis, and problem-solving frameworks to complex business challenges. Executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence and engage with senior executives are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a background in a similar high-impact, high-visibility role is highly valued.
