Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) – 1:1 Home Care Job Summary

Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing in patients' homes. You'll deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting.

Client Details

Our client is a 25 year old male who is non-mobile, stays in a hospital bed in the living room, and requires ongoing trach, ventilator, and g-tube management. He was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy characterized by multiple types of seizures that typically begin in early childhood.

Key responsibilities include:

Clinical Care: Main responsibilities will include trach, ventilator, and g-tube management and he has a history of Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome.

The Home Environment

Supportive Family: The client's wife is known for being exceptionally kind and easy to work with, fostering a respectful professional atmosphere.
Environment: Very clean, pet free home

Schedule & Availability

We are looking to fill the following 6 :00 AM – 6:00 PM and 6 :00 PM – 6:00 AM shifts:

Every day

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)
Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
Communicate with families and care teams
Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care

Schedule & Pay

Full-time and part-time shifts available
Day, night, and weekend shifts
Weekly pay + optional daily pay

Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Patient Population

Pediatrics (birth–21 years)
Adults with complex medical needs
