Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Accounting

Participate in monthly close and quarterly and annual financial reporting Provide value-added financial services to internal and external customers Review and interpret financial reporting proposals from governing bodies Prepare analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro-forma financial data Develop comprehensive financial data reports for internal and external customers Identify, research, and recommend solutions for reporting issues Assist with adoption of new reporting requirements Gather data and prepare regulatory schedules, pro-forma calculations, testimony, and data requests Assist with review and analysis of regulatory documents Document work fully and accurately Identify, analyze, and improve organizational processes Collaborate between corporate and business units to develop solutions Support emergency response efforts when required Requirements Requires four year degree in business discipline Four years or more experience in finance, accounting, regulatory or a related field Experience in monthly close process preferred Some audit experience preferred Requires multiple functional experience Requires knowledge of PC applications Understanding of financial reporting, financial statements, metrics, measures, and strategic business initiatives Understanding of regulatory finance and how financial statement changes impact customer bills and NI EPS Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States Candidates must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future CPA preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance, with a strong ability to prepare comprehensive financial data reports and collaborate across business units. Proficient in identifying and resolving reporting issues while supporting organizational process improvements.
