As our IT Support Technician you will diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components. This individual will install and configure computer hardware and provide IT support for the organization. You will routinely interact with various departments and levels and listen to their technical needs and implement IT solutions. We are looking for someone with detailed knowledge of a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems.The ideal candidate will possess phenomenal troubleshooting abilities, customer service, and attention to detail. This position is based out of our Fleet Feet Distribution Center located in Durham, NC, and requires occasional trips to the Carrboro, NC office. The role is required to be onsite five days per week.What You'll Do:Receiving and processing all help desk requests for current employees and retail storesSupporting and maintaining hardware, software, and network equipment as necessaryParticipating in testing, configuration, and training of new technologyCoordinating new hire setups, including ordering and configuration of equipment, email, and software installationProviding technology support for new hire orientationsCollaborating with other team members on IT projects and initiativesMaintaining documentation and logs related to IT operationsTraveling occasionally to support retail store locationsOther tasks and projects as assignedQualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, preferably in desktop support environmentsWorking knowledge of common hardware and operating systemsFamiliarity with a range of operating systems and network technologiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to effectively communicate about technology with employees who have a wide range of technical skillsEagerness to train and learn about new technology and systemsAbility to travel as required to storesWhy You'll Love It Here:At Fleet Feet, we create an environment where people feel connected, supported, and inspired every day.
