Hybrid BA - Portal Liaison (Healthcare, UAT)

Gainwell, a leader in health and human services solutions, is seeking a Business Analyst – Portal Liaison (Hybrid) to support our portal initiatives. This role will collaborate with providers, state clients, and engineering teams to deliver secure portal enhancements. Summary As a Business Analyst – Portal Liaison, you will coordinate with portal users and internal teams to implement changes, troubleshoot issues, and improve the user experience. Your role in our mission Takes ownership of change‑management tasks and follows them through to completion. Partners with other areas for incident resolution that impacts users, researching, identifying, and specifying solutions to problems. Acts as an informed team member, providing analysis and limited project direction input; supports fact‑finding investigations, user‑experience evaluation, and configuration for solution design. Follows established guidelines, interprets policies, procedures, and protocols. Develops and maintains structured user manuals, training materials, and other educational resources. What we're looking for Three to five years of business‑analysis experience in the healthcare industry (provider, member, insurance, or claims); Medicaid knowledge strongly desired. Proficiency with personal computers and applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, Adobe, and OneNote. Skilled at troubleshooting and solving computer‑related technical problems over phone, email, and meetings. Technologically savvy with strong organizational, analytical, critical‑thinking, and customer‑service skills; meticulous attention to detail. Maintains confidentiality and complies with HIPAA. Excellent time‑management, verbal, and written communication skills; able to multitask in a high‑paced environment. Able to work outside core business hours if needed to meet project timelines. What you should expect in this role This hybrid position prefers candidates to reside within commuting distance of the office in Topeka, Kansas. Fully qualified candidates may be considered for a remote option. In the future, this position might return to the office at the request of the client. Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation. The pay range for this position is $51,900.00–$74,200.00 per year; the base pay may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
