Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Connected Health is seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a partner facility in Tribune, Kansas. This PRN contract offers as-needed hours and a flexible schedule, ideal for LPNs looking to pick up additional shifts while maintaining flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities
Administer medications and record medication administration accurately
Monitor patient status and report changes to the nursing team
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to develop care plans
Document patient information and care activities in electronic health records
Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
Assist with wound care and basic clinical procedures
Qualifications:
Current, active LPN license in the state of Kansas
Reliable and professional demeanor
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
Flexible availability, particularly for weekend coverage
Preferred Skills:
Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare experience
