Position: CVOR CST
Years of Experience Required: 2 year(s). Must have Level 1 Trauma Experience

Scheduling Details And Charting
Shift hours/Contract Length: 0600-1630 (13 weeks)
On Call Requirement: Yes, On-call after shift hours FridaySunday during scheduled weeks
Call requirement: Will take call at least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on the need
OT Days each week

RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission. Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking.
Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Accept First-Time Travelers: No
Locals Accepted Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.
Pending Certification Accepted: No. Must have CST through NBSTSA
Travel Pairs: TRAVEL PAIRS AND TRIOS ARE WELCOME

Required Certifications
BLS, CST through NBSTSA

Required Clinical Skills
CVOR experience, First Assist roles
Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atherectomy, ASD repair, Cardiomyoplasty, CABG, ECMO, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, VAD management

Unit Details And Floating
Patient Population & Unit Details: Average of 3 hearts/day
Floating: Yes. Floating required per Prisma Health policy. Staff may float to other units/campuses based on census and only to units they are qualified for and trained in. **Float to the Main OR if CVOR volume is low.
