Step into an impactful role as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students during a maternity leave contract. This full-time position runs from your earliest cleared start date through October 23rd, 2026, aligning with the academic calendar. Contribute your expertise in a collaborative school environment, where schedules offer flexibility (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–3:00 pm, with negotiable hours and days).

In this assignment, you'll provide essential services tailored to students’ unique needs across a diverse caseload. You’ll help enhance students’ participation and success within the classroom and school routines, using your experience in educational settings, home health, and broader healthcare contexts. The work kicks off alongside the school year, following staff preparation days.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license or pending licensure (upon assignment start)
• Previous experience in school-based OT, home health, or pediatric OT strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process and providing therapy within educational environments
• Skill in collaborating with other professionals, teachers, and families
• Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable managing a K-12 caseload
• Exceptional communication and documentation capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evaluations, direct interventions, and ongoing assessments for K-12 students
• Contribute expert input for IEPs and attend school-based meetings as needed
• Partner with teachers, staff, and families to achieve student-centered goals
• Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
• Promote student independence and participation in daily school activities
