Warehouse Technician

Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Warehouse Technician for a local construction company.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Receiving Tech is responsible for unloading tools and equipment, checking in to inventory with computer, ensuring proper function and safety checks are done, and returning items to their respective locations.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Receive tools and equipment for return and verify contents
• Unload trucks via forklift operation
• Update the product inventory as products are received and added to inventory with computer
• Perform general housekeeping tasks to keep warehouse clean and organized (sweep, dust, mop, re-locate/re-stack materials, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs - may include tasks/projects outside home department

Required skills:

• Forklift operating experience preferred
• Familiarity with company equipment and materials
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read & interpret work instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal & external customers
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• The ability to work at a steady pace and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Previous warehouse related experience
• Forklift operating experience preferred
• Must possess a valid driver license

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm


Pay: $19-$20
